An intangible asset can be classified as definite or indefinite depending on the specifics of that asset. Brand intangibles are a common means by which marketers differentiate  their brands with consumers and transcend physical products, Intangibles covers a whole range of different types of brand associations such as actual or aspirational user imaginary, consumption imaginary,history,heritage and experience.
